Skylink Agro Solutions Limited is processor of agricultural products and has earned a reputation for producing exceptional high-quality cassava flour (HQCF), Cassava grits, Gari, and cassava chips to cater for both domestic and international markets. The company's primary objective is to provide access to cassava, a plant with numerous practical advantages, while simultaneously building an AgProTech industry that emphasizes superior quality products and equitable compensation for all stakeholders. Skylink's journey began in 2010 as a small-scale business processing cassava, and it has since grown into a robust agro-processing supply chain supporting the cassava industry in Ghana. The majority of Skylink's clients are domestic, accounting for approximately 80% of their customer base. Skylink now exports its products to the Caribbean and North America.
Skylink’s key products are cassava flour used by the brewery and bakery industries, Cassava grits used by the animal feed industries, Gari used as a snack and in the making of a delicious African delicacy called “eba”, cassava chips used in fermented drinks, and soon will be expanding to tapioca starch used for fillers, capsules, glues, and biodegradable wares. The company specializes in row crop and broad acre farming and prides itself in being able to provide satisfaction through using a fine balance of agri-tech and indigenous practices. Skylink processes 100% of its raw materials into ingredients for the food and beverage industry and bio-fuels which provide a source of renewable energy. It plans to increase exports with Diaspora partners who have identified market potential to raise compensation for the farmers.
